Here we’ve got the infamous Nike Waffle Racer. Originally designed back in 1973, these were some of the earliest running shoes not to feature spikes, and instead feature that waffle sole that was apparently invented when Nike man Bill Bowerman poured rubber into his wife’s waffle iron. Not sure if she was best pleased, but the shoes are top. Retro running shoes don’t get much more classical than these.
